Personal information collected
We collect information from you in the following ways:
- When you complete online forms
- Emails we send you that you read and click
- The pages you visit on our website after clicking emails or completing online forms
We also use cookies to identify you when you visit our website. Data you provide with consent is held until you withdraw that consent. If you are a magazine subscriber, we will retain your data until your subscription lapses. If you are an email newsletter subscriber, we will retain your data until such time as you unsubscribe.
How your personal information is used
We need your personal information in order to send you magazines if you are a subscriber, and to send you our email newsletters if you have opted in to receive these. We also send out emails to let you know when a new issue of a magazine has been published.
The information stored in the database
If you have opted in to receive our email newsletters, we record:
- Your title and full name
- Your email address
- Your password
- Your company name
- Your postal address and postcode (if it has been supplied)
- And whether or not you have opted-in to receiving emails (Yes or No)
If you are a magazine subscriber, we also record:
- Your telephone number
- And your address and postcode
These details can be viewed and edited by logging in to the website by clicking on the login button on the top right of the website. Or you can CLICK HERE. If you don’t know, or have forgotten, your password, click on the ‘Help, I have forgotten my password’ link underneath the login form. If you have already registered, we will email you a link to reset your password.
Who has access to this information?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. Our website and email newsletters may contain links to third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of any third party to whom we link. Magazine subscriptions and invoices can be paid online through our website. We use Sage Pay as our payment provider. None of your card details are retained by us. Sage Pay have their own privacy and security policy, which can be viewed here https://www.sagepay.co.uk/policies/security-policy.
Your choices
We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email unless you have given prior consent. Consent must be actively given by ticking the appropriate box when you use forms on our website to subscribe to our email newsletters, subscribe to our magazines, or pay an invoice online. If you subsequently change your mind and decide you no longer wish to receive email communications from us, you can unsubscribe by:
- By clicking the unsubscribe link at the foot of our email newsletters
- By logging in to our website and selecting ‘No’ from the Mailing List options
- By contacting us by email and requesting removal terryprior@innovationsfood.com
Security of your information
When you update your information it is transmitted normally over the Internet, which can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We take all reasonable care to protect your data, but any information you send to us is done so at your own risk. Where we have allocated to you (or you have chosen) a password to login to view and edit your information, you are responsible for the safe keeping of this password.
How you can access and update your information
Your contact details are visible in the ‘Profile’ section of the website to logged in visitors. Once you have logged in to the website by clicking on the ‘Login’ button at the top right of the homepage, you will be taken to your profile page. Here you can view your contact information, or update it by making changes and clicking the ‘Update’ button at the foot of the form. You can also request a copy of the information we hold about you by contacting terryprior@innovationsfood.com. This may be subject to a fee of £10.
