Minebea Intec, one of the world’s leading manufac-turers of weighing and inspection technology, will be presenting new products at PPMA 2023 in Birmingham from 26-28th Septem-ber. The focus will be on the NEW Pipeline X-ray Dypipe as well as a newly developed user interface for checkweighers.
X-ray inspection system Dypipe for tube-fed products with “real part” test piece validation
Visitors to the stand will be able to experience the new X-ray inspec-tion system Dypipe which guarantees an extremely high level of safety for viscous and liquid products. It was developed to reliably detect foreign objects made of metal, stone, plastic, bone and glass whilst also rejecting defective or contaminated products. The Dypipe is fitted with an innovative test piece feed system which enables veri-fication of test pieces during production. This means that you can al-ways be sure that your production process will function without any problems, with no lost production time. The Dypipe is fitted with an easy-to-open reject valve that has been specially developed to meet the high level of hygiene requirements for meat applications. This system guarantees outstanding results and gives the assurance of high-quality meat products which are safe for consumers.
New interface for checkweighers makes production lines more effi-cient
Another highlight on the exhibition stand will be a new user interface for checkweighers. The interface features intuitive operation and therefore offers maximum user friendliness. Checkweighers can be easily configured, controlled, tested and audited with the interface. Regardless of whether users are programming a new product, adjust-ing line parameters or defining a batch record, the interface simpli-fies work and makes it more efficient. The operator terminal displays the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and other statistics based on current weighing results. There are various log functions for audits. The operator terminal is fully MID certified with Minebea Intec weighing technology.
Other products not to be missed
The stand will also showcase the Vision Inspection VisioPointer® which is one of three Vision products from Minebea Intec and further
enhances the already popular inspection portfolio. It is also one of the key products that helps drive automation within food production and manufacturing. Combined with the Automatic Weigh Price Label-ler WPL-A customers can automate their entire end of production line where labelling plays a significant part of the manufacturing.
The Static Weigh Price Labeller (WPL-S) will also be available to view at the show providing visitors with even more solutions for their end of line production.
