Isentra opens new manufacturing facility

Industrial refrigeration and heat pump specialist Isentra has opened a new manufacturing facility to consolidate its manufacture of CO2 refrigeration and heat pump plant machinery for the commercial and industrial sectors.

Headed by renowned refrigeration consultant Daniel Clark, Isentra is a firm believer in CO2 as the primary environmentally sustainable refrigerant solution.

Since launch, it has completed major COrefrigeration projects for clients including Waitrose and Brakes with further projects in motion representing overall sales growth of over 200% in the last 12 months.

The new manufacturing facility in Preston has been opened to bring manufacturing under one roof and consolidate services.

Managing director Daniel Clark said: “We’re on a mission to bring CO2 into force as the prime agent of change in maximising the efficiency of refrigeration systems and minimising refrigeration’s impact on the environment.

“CO2 heat pumps also represent a massive opportunity for organisations of all shapes and sizes to lower their overall carbon footprint by reducing reliance on fossil fuels to keep ourselves warm.

“In light of F-Gas regulations pushing businesses towards minimising their environmental impact, CO2 refrigeration is a future proof solution that will not be phased out, nor is it subject to costly ammonia management schemes or HFC taxation.

“This manufacturing facility will help us consolidate manufacture and development of our product range of cutting-edge, connected technology that delivers now for the future demands of the reduced emission global agenda.”
