Markem-Imaje introduces Dual Language Support to Print and Apply 2200 Series

Upgrade allows for full operation with both Markem-Imaje’s proprietary CoLOSÒ solution or direct communication with ZPL emulation*.

Markem-Imajethe global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions and industrial marking and coding systems, has this week introduced Dual Language Support to their Print and Apply 2200 Series. The upgrade allows for full operation with both Markem-Imaje’s proprietary CoLOS solution or direct communication with ZPL emulation; for the first time facilitating immediate integration of the 2200 Series into legacy software systems.

The Dual Language Support enables customers to directly connect to existing architecture with the ZPL emulator.

The market-leading 2200 Series offers a broad range of end-of-line Print and Apply labelling solutions from simple case and pallet labelling through to high-speed front of pack or multi-side. With full GS1 compliance, the 2200 Series has been recognized as an operator friendly solution, supporting optimized efficiency with a simple user interface, a minimized label change time of 40 seconds and competent operation with fewer than five minutes training.

Mike Kirk, Print and Apply Product Marketing Manager, Markem-Imaje said: “Our Dual Language Support is a unique proposition which has been designed to support customers with legacy software systems who wish to upgrade to our 2200 Series. This development paves the way for customers in this position to seamlessly benefit from the 2200 Series efficiency, robustness and reliably compliant barcodes at the highest application speed.”
