Selig Group brings PreVentorTM Press-Fit vents to Europe

Selig Group is now stocking the company’s highly successful press fit vents in Europe. The Selig PreVentorTM Press-Fit vents range has been developed to allow containers to breathe and equalise pressure, without risk of leakage or contamination. Developed around Selig’s world-class package venting design, the vents not only resolve off-gassing problems but can be used to lightweight packaging.

Selig’s vents come in a range of sizes and use various microporous films and media, including microporous ePTFE membranes, to eliminate container bloating and paneling issues. They have been designed to prevent container distortion and can even be used for peroxide, bleach, acid, solvent, and essential oil applications. Available for both liquid and dry products, the PreVentor vents are also compatible with low surface tension formulations and have been optimised for UN drop-test requirements.

Darren Dodd, Marketing and Service Director at Selig Group, comments: “By bringing this product to Europe, manufacturers will be able to benefit from faster European order turnaround and lead times, excellent stock levels and local service support. The introduction of our PreVentor Press-Fit vents range to Europe will enable local producers to resolve their container bloating and paneling issues more easily and quickly.”
