TIPA Compostable Packaging has launched a new certified home compostable label for fresh produce with strong adherence on a variety of produce including the complex, rough skin of an orange.
TIPA’s home compostable produce label stands out in the marketplace with excellent resistance to moisture while remaining flexible. It’s pressure-sensitive adhesive allows for strong adherence on a variety of produce ranging from the smooth skin of a banana or mango to the complex, rough skin of an orange or cantaloupe, without leaving a residue on the produce.

This development is the result of a partnership between TIPA and Bio4Life, a supplier of home compostable adhesives. Bio4Life adhesive technology, BioTAK, is the world’s first adhesive that is fully certified to European compost standards and leaves no residue.
