Dataline acquires VG7 in Italy and strengthens its software portfolio with cloud-native Print ERP

Dataline acquires Italian software company VG7, developer of a cloud-native Print ERP solution with integrated e-commerce functionality for graphic companies. With this
strategic acquisition, Dataline strengthens its software portfolio, enters the Italian market and gives VG Seven software the European momentum it needs to grow
internationally.

VG7 has already won over more than 300 graphic companies in Italy with its modern, intuitive user interface, rapid implementation and scalable software architecture.
VG7’s ERP solution was specifically developed for print, sign and LFP companies that want to manage their administration, production and online sales within a single cloud environment.

Cloud-native Print ERP with a modern, intuitive user interface
With VG7, Dataline brings more than 20 Italian specialists on board and adds a powerful cloud-native Print ERP solution to its software portfolio. The business software
combines in-depth functionality and design within a single integrated cloud environment. VG7 was specifically developed for ambitious print, sign and LFP companies that prioritise speed, scalability and ease of use.

The solution stands out above all for its modern user interface. Whereas traditional Print ERP software often feels complex and technical, VG Seven offers a highly intuitive
user experience. The solution is currently used by more than 300 graphic companies in Italy and has grown in recent years into one of the most notable ERP systems in the Italian graphic sector.

“VG Seven combines in-depth ERP functionality with an attractive user interface. That is exceptional in our sector. The software therefore deserves a larger market than Italy alone. Just as Ferrari and Lamborghini were not made to be driven only in Italy, we also want to roll out VG Seven across the European market. At the same time, this acquisition opens the door to Italy for Dataline, where we also want to further accelerate the automation of graphic companies with MultiPress, Unik and DigiFlex.”

Dirk Deroo, CEO Dataline

Strategic step in Dataline’s European growth strategy
The acquisition of VG7 fits within Dataline’s broader European growth strategy. The software company is currently active in 28 European countries and, with this step, is
establishing a structural presence in Italy for the first time, one of Europe’s largest graphic markets. Activities will continue under Dataline Italia, while the software will be
positioned more internationally as VG Seven.

VG Seven is supported by Dataline’s international network, technological expertise and innovation capacity. The ambition is clear: to accelerate the rollout of the         cloud-native dataline.eu Print ERP in Europe, while MultiPress, Unik and DigiFlex are also actively introduced to the Italian market.

The answer to a changing graphic industry
This acquisition comes at a time when graphic companies across Europe are under pressure to produce faster and more profitably. The influx of employees trained in the
graphic arts has been declining for years, while companies are faced with higher costs, more complex workflows and rising expectations around online services.

As a result, the role of modern Print ERP software is fundamentally shifting. Today, software must not only be powerful, but also user-friendly, quick to deploy and ready
for artificial intelligence, e-commerce and advanced automation.

With the acquisition of software company VG7, Dataline aims to actively contribute to the further modernisation of the European graphic industry, so that print, sign and LFP companies can continue to produce efficiently, competitively and profitably, and keep investing in machines and people.

Mix of local roots and international scalability
For existing VG7 customers, continuity is fully assured. The entire team remains on board and will continue to support customers in their local language and market
context. Through the integration within Dataline, the team will also gain additional development capacity, extra support and access to international expertise in
automation, artificial intelligence and connectivity.

Because both companies work with comparable modern technologies, teams can collaborate more smoothly, share knowledge and develop new functionality faster. This
should lead to an even stronger, scalable and future-oriented software environment for graphic companies across Europe.

“With Dataline, we gain greater European momentum to grow VG Seven internationally. Their professional organisation with ISO 9001 certification, investments in artificial intelligence and in-depth expertise in the graphic industry as a CIP4 member make Dataline the ideal partner to further expand our technology.”

Mario Cunsolo, CEO VG7
