Selig, a global leader in sealing and packaging solutions, is placing a priority on customers getting the right seal, every time, with the launch of the company’s new website – www.seligsealing.com. Amongst other things, the website includes a detailed liner selection guide, a new online personalised datasheet library and an easy-to-use product gallery.
The liner selection guide enables producers to see a selection of products for their specific application, based on results filtered by parameters such as ‘opening experience’, ‘product being packaged’ and the ‘product filling process’. The new datasheet section allows customers to use the website as their own personal reference library, allowing information to be saved, downloaded and organised as required. Also, the highly visual product gallery enables producers to choose an application and see a wide range of liners in action, helping ease the decision-making process still further.
As well as helping producers choose the right seal for each application, the website also includes a wide range of guidance content, including tips for sealing liquids for ecommerce shipments, training on perfecting the induction heat sealing process and detailed guides on specific packaging needs.
John Brown, Vice President of Global Marketing at Selig says, “the potential for induction heat sealing to help producers lightweight their plastic packaging, ensure product integrity during shipment and to extend shelf-life is immense. We wanted to help those looking at induction heat sealing to find the right solution quickly and easily, and with the launch of www.seligsealing.com that is now possible.”
