Fazer has completed the acquisition of Swedish confectionery manufacturer Konfektyrfabriken Aroma AB, following the announcement in May 2026. The transaction has received all necessary regulatory approvals and was finalised on 15 June 2026. The acquisition is an important step in Fazer’s growth strategy and further strengthens the company’s position in both the Swedish and Nordic confectionery markets.
The acquisition includes Aroma’s operations with three production facilities located in Stockholm, Eskilstuna and Bengtsfors in Sweden and approximately 100 employees. Aroma will be integrated into Fazer Confectionery’s Candy Business Unit.
“We are pleased to welcome our new colleagues to Fazer. Together, we will build on our strengths to further develop an attractive consumer-centred confectionery offering, grounded in our shared passion for quality, taste and craftsmanship,” says Christoph Vitzthum, President and CEO of Fazer Group.
Through the acquisition, Fazer strengthens its presence in the Nordic confectionery market, particularly within pick & mix, packed candy and seasonal products. Aroma brings Swedish confectionery production, strong local products and deep category expertise to Fazer, complementing its capabilities and supporting the development of both existing and new products.
The financial terms of the transaction will not be disclosed.
