New Geneva, NY production facility and turnkey concept portfolio demonstrate commercial readiness of proprietary ingredient transformation platform
Infusd Nutrition has reached a significant milestone in its evolution from technology innovator to commercial manufacturing partner with the expansion of its U.S. production capabilities and the introduction of a portfolio of turnkey functional nutrition concepts that showcase what becomes possible when longstanding formulation barriers are removed.
The company has expanded production through a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Geneva, New York, providing commercial-scale capacity for liquid ingredient production while supporting growing demand from ingredient suppliers, contract manufacturers, and consumer brands developing next-generation functional foods, beverages, and dietary supplements. The facility includes integrated quality control, testing, packing, and logistics capabilities and is supported by additional manufacturing partners for powder production and future global expansion.
Infusd’s proprietary mechanical processing technology transforms fat-soluble and insoluble ingredients into fully water-soluble, shelf-stable, clean-label liquid and powder formats while improving solubility, stability, bioavailability, and sensory performance. The platform enables manufacturers to formulate ingredients that have historically limited product development because of poor solubility, instability, unpleasant taste, or processing constraints.
“Over the past several years, we have focused on solving formulation challenges that many companies believed simply couldn’t be solved,” said Jack MacDonald, co-founder of Infusd Nutrition. “With this significant increase in our large-scale manufacturing capacity, we’re able to help more customers move rapidly from concept development to full-scale production while preserving ingredient integrity and creating products consumers genuinely enjoy.”
Founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia by chemical engineer David Giffin and attorney Jack MacDonald, Infusd spent nearly a decade developing its proprietary technology platform, initially focused on omega-3 applications before expanding its capabilities to hundreds of ingredients spanning nutrition, food, and beverage categories. Strategic investment, commercial partnerships, and the addition of industry veteran Dean Mosca to the team, have enabled the company to scale manufacturing while maintaining research and product development in Halifax.
To demonstrate the platform’s commercial capabilities, Infusd has introduced a portfolio of turnkey product concepts spanning functional beverages, gummies, liquid sachets, wellness shots, ready-to-drink beverages, and hydration stick packs. Rather than serving as finished consumer brands, the concepts illustrate how difficult-to-formulate ingredients can now be successfully incorporated into formats preferred by today’s consumers.
Representative concepts include a Clean Energy Sachet combining Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Citicoline, L-theanine, natural caffeine, vitamin D3, and B vitamins; a Sleep Shot formulated with glycine, magnesium bisglycinate, ashwagandha, chamomile, passionflower, and Herbatonin; magnesium bisglycinate gummies delivering meaningful elemental magnesium without traditional formulation challenges; and a Calm & Clean Energy ready-to-drink beverage developed with Symrise that combines adaptogens, mushrooms, nootropics, and natural caffeine with long-term stability and excellent sensory characteristics.
The technology has successfully been applied to a broad range of ingredients including omega-3 fatty acids, fat-soluble vitamins, botanical extracts, adaptogens, mushrooms, phospholipids, minerals, cognitive health ingredients, curcumin, creatine, and numerous specialty bioactives, opening new formulation opportunities across energy, cognition, sleep, hydration, sports nutrition, metabolic health, and healthy aging applications.
Products manufactured through the Geneva facility are produced under SQF-certified quality systems, with USDA Organic, Kosher, Halal, and NSF Certified for Sport manufacturing available. Together with the company’s manufacturing partnerships and scalable operating model, the facility positions Infusd to support commercial programs ranging from specialty nutritional products to large-scale global ingredient applications.
“We’re thrilled to have begun servicing industry leading brands out of our new Geneva facility” MacDonald said. “Since our launch, Infusd has been obsessed with the idea of creating high performance products at scale – not just on the bench. Our new state-of-the-art facility gives our partners confidence that we can meet the incredible demand coming our way, both now and for years to come.”
