UK fruit business J.O. Sims has partnered with German ingredient company Bösch Boden Spies, to expand into Continental Europe.
The German company has acquired a stake in the Polish fruit processor Zarecki Foods, a business co-founded by J.O. Sims and Polish Entrepreneur Marcin Sosnicki.
Zarecki Foods is located in the heart of the largest apple growing area in Europe and is focussed on sustainable cultivation and processing high-quality apple products, achieving the BRC AA standard in quality and food safety.
J.O. Sims and Zarecki produce food ingredients for breakfast cereals, fruit bars and baked goods. J.O. Sims holds the exclusive marketing rights for the apple products in the UK and Ireland. The partnership with Bösch Boden Spies will aid distribution of products to all markets across Continental Europe.
