The chemical specialist Budenheim announces an additional annual capacity of 4,400 tons along with new high-quality products for Early-Life, Preventive,
and Medical Nutrition. Starting this month, the company’s brand-new ‘House of Nutrition’ is now open to receive orders for mineral phosphate samples, with full production expected later this year. This achievement represents the latest milestone in Budenheim’s 57 million Euro investment at its site in
Germany.
The ‘House of Nutrition’, with its 5,000 square meters of dedicated production area, sets a new hygienic standard for sustainable mineral phosphate products, like PureMin®. “The calcium, magnesium, and in future, iron specialties produced in this state-of-the-art facility are specifically tailored for highly sensitive applications,” says Jorge Flores, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Budenheim. He continues, “This significant investment reflects the Life Science focus of our site in Germany, and most importantly, our commitment to supporting our customer’s future growth even more effectively.”
Peter de Jager, Vice President of Sales at Budenheim, adds, “The ‘House of Nutrition’ allows us to expand our current portfolio with innovative solutions
that meet strict customer requirements.” Peter refers to new product offerings suitable for direct use in dry blending processes, ensuring streamlined manufacturing for customers. Additionally, various packaging sizes and strippable bag options will be available for utmost customer convenience. “Delivering highest purity and safety products for most sensitive and vulnerable target groups requires creativity. Our strippable bags, for instance, consist of inner and outer layers that allow our customers to insert a hermetically protected inner bag into their hygiene areas,” explains Peter de Jager.
Manufacturing companies can visit Budenheim’s booth at Vitafoods Europe to learn more about the brand-new ‘House of Nutrition’, discuss their requirements, and place sample orders. Budenheim will be exhibiting at Vitafoods Europe, booth J268, on May 14-16 in Geneva. There will also be opportunities to arrange a site visit in the near future to see the exceptional facilities firsthand.
