Sabinsa USA Adds Sales Manager and Utah Facility Operations Staff

Sabinsa, the multi-national health science company known for providing sustainable natural, well-researched ingredients, announces the addition of staff in the United States and the promotion of a long-time team member.

Industry veteran, Kim Merselis, has joined the company as Sales Manager.  She said, “I look forward to growing with Sabinsa and bringing traditional ingredients, backed by science, to the forefront of innovation.”

Her previous experience includes Business Development Manager  at Nutrition Business Journal and most recently with Kyowa Hakko as Director of Customer Experience. Kim has a passion for innovation and a strong commitment to high quality branded ingredients.

Darrin Fox has been named Vice President of Operations, Sabinsa Utah. Darrin has over 30 years of experience in production operations, including a previous stint at Sabinsa’s Utah manufacturing facility as Plant Manager from 2009 – 2012. His forte is listening to people while building a team culture and finding ways to improve processes and procedures.

Melissa Beddoes, who joined Sabinsa in 2002,  has been promoted to Operations Manager. Her responsibilities over the years have included inventory management and warehouse operations, and she has worked closely with the Quality, Manufacturing and Regulatory departments. Melissa holds an associate’s degree in science from Snow College.

“One of significant highlights of my career has been the collaboration with the programming team to help develop and enhance the operating system database, streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue fine-tuning our efficiency,” Melissa said.

Jeanette Fisher Joins Sabinsa as Marketing Director

Sabinsa, the multi-national health science company known for providing sustainable natural, well-researched ingredients, announces that industry veteran Jeanette Fisher, RDN has joined the management team as Marketing Director. Jeanette brings in-depth knowledge of marketing, sales, nutrition, customer service, regulatory affairs, QA compliance, purchasing, and R&D.

In her previous job with Soft Gel Technologies, over nearly 20 years she held the positions of National Education Manager, Marketing Director, and finally Director of Sales and Marketing. Jeanette has experience in multiple facets of the nutraceuticals industry, including as a dietitian, in public health research and communications, with an independent nutrition store, and, for Leiner Health Products, in corporate account management. She has BS in Nutrition Science from California Polytechnic State University, SLO, and is a Registered Dietitian.

Sabinsa Expands Global Presence to Include Commonwealth of Independent States Countries, Adds Sales and Quality Staff in Brazil

Sabinsa, the multi-national health science company known for providing sustainable natural, well-researched ingredients, announces opening a new region with the addition of staff in Russia and South America.

Sabinsa has expanded the company’s growing network of sales offices to Russia, with the appointment of Ms. Tatiana Tetereva to serve the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries.

A native of Moscow and a dual citizen of the UK and Russia, Tatiana earned a BA (Honors) in Business Studies from Southampton University in the UK. Tatiana began her career in export sales, gaining experience at IBM, Twinings, Dentsply, Nelsons, and Pharmacare. Her expertise spans sales planning and budgeting, international sales, distributor management, marketing, e-commerce, logistics, and product registration, working both independently and in small teams. In 2018 Tatiana returned to Russia, where she has been instrumental in developing businesses in the cosmetics and food supplement industries.

“I’m pleased to have joined the Sabinsa team, and look forward to representing such an impressive portfolio of research-supported ingredients to improve human health,” Tatiana said.

The Sabinsa Brasil (which uses the Portuguese spelling) team has added Satomy Arenas Kami, Pharmacist and Master’s in Pharmaceutical Science, and Camila Correa Cugnier Machado, Pharmacist.

Dr. Kami has joined the company as Commercial & Technical Sales at Sabinsa Brasil. She has research experience in phytochemical analysis of natural products. Previously she served as a Technical Leader, advocating for pharmaceutical assistance in patient care and health promotion through the application of evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Machado, Quality Analyst at Sabinsa Brasil, has research experience in Brazilian fruit biodiversity, exploring topics relevant to health and nutrition. She served as an Advisory Member in Partnerships and Marketing for Junior´s Pharmacy Company and the Academic Pharmacy Journey, where she contributed to the development of projects and strategies and strengthened the ties between the college and the professional industry. Her contributions to Sabinsa Brasil’s operations will include Quality Assurance and compliance with Brazilian regulatory requirements, in addition to offering technical support to customers.

Sami-Sabinsa Group Welcomes Dr. K Srinivasa Reddy as Director of Quality & Regulatory

Sabinsa, the multi-national health science company known for providing sustainable natural, well-researched ingredients, announces Dr. K Srinivasa Reddy as Sami-Sabinsa Group Director of Quality & Regulatory. Dr. Srinivasa will drive the Quality initiatives across tRecenthe organization and its subsidiaries, including oversight of quality control, quality assurance, microbiology, clinical trials, and regulatory compliance for formulation and ingredients. He is based at the Sami-Sabinsa Group corporate office in Bangalore, India.

Dr. Srinivasa, who earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Bundelkhand University, has over 21 years of industry experience, including a previous stint on the Sami Labs science team. Prior to re-joining the Sami-Sabinsa Group, he was working as Director of Quality at Omni Active Health Care Technologies. Other professional experience includes Vimta Life Sciences – Preclinical Facility, Piramal Life Sciences, Apotex Research India Pvt Ltd, GVK Biosciences, and Aurobindo Pharma Research Centre. He is an active member of professional organizations including the Drug Information Association and the Society of Quality Assurance.
