Griffith Foods integrates the Plant-Tec factory into the company’s manufacturing footprint as part of its European growth strategy
Griffith Foods, a leading global product development partner in culinary-driven, customized food ingredients, has reached an agreement with LipCo Foods Group to acquire Plant-Tec factory in Zgierz – Lodz, Poland, as part of its pivotal growth strategy for Europe.
This strategic investment strengthens Griffith Foods’ manufacturing footprint in Poland and Eastern Europe, adds capacity and flexibility to better serve customers in the region, and reinforces its position in key product categories, including dry seasonings and coatings. By integrating the new factory into its network, Griffith Foods brings together global product leadership and local market expertise – building a foundation for shared, long-term growth.
With total market demand reaching US$10.49bn in 2025, Eastern Europe’s sauces, seasonings, and spices market is expected to grow annually by 6.83% until 2030.[i] “The new production facility is a key manufacturing asset that strengthens our footprint in Poland and Eastern Europe and supports our ability to serve customers in the region with greater capacity, flexibility and continuity of supply. It also reinforces our position in important product categories, including dry seasonings and coatings, where we see strong potential for growth”, explains Filip De Reymaeker, President of Europe at Griffith Foods.

In 2026, the Polish economy is expected to expand by 3.5 percent – one of the fastest rates among the EU’s biggest economies.[ii] Poland also offers strategic access to other emerging markets in the region. This integration with Plant-Tec advances Griffith Foods’ product leadership in dry seasonings and coating categories – extending the company’s established position in some of Europe’s fastest-growing markets.
