New CEO and Director appointments at Lecico announced

Bradley of Kerfoot Group extends responsibilities to Avril Group company, Lecico 

Sarah Bradley, CEO of Kerfoot Group, an Avril Group company, has expanded her responsibilities within the £6 Billion French agro-industrial group. Becoming Managing Director of Lecico, a leading international business in speciality lecithins and phospholipids, Bradley is appointed to drive global growth in the food, nutrition and pharmaceutical markets. 

Sarah said of her appointment: “I’m pleased to be joining Lecico at a key time for both the company and the industry. With over 30 years in the lecithin market, Lecico has the ingredient technology, expertise and excellence in customer support to further succeed in what is an exciting industry. Consumers have become far more switched on to food and nutrition formulations and brands are seeking new ways to innovate and add more nutritional value to products. The future therefore looks very bright and I’m excited to be working with the team.” 

Having built expertise in the FMCG sector over 20 years with both UK and global brands, Bradley joined Kerfoot in 2017 as CEO, a role she retains alongside her new appointment as Lecico MD. 

At the same time, Sarah Bradley has announced the appointment of Philipp Sommer as Business Director at Lecico to work alongside her. Philipp joins Lecico from leading distribution company Nordmann, where he held a strategic role as Business Manager Food Ingredients leading the DACH sales team, product management team and the company’s international business development team. Prior to that, Philipp gained extensive experience in the food industry working in a number of large food ingredient businesses holding a number of sales and marketing roles over his career. 

Speaking of his appointment, Philipp said: “I am delighted to take on the role of Business Director at Lecico, and am looking forward to continuing the success of the business.
