Gisela Heel has been appointed the new Head of Corporate Communications for the Emmi Group. The communications expert boasts 20 years of in-depth experience across various posts at international enterprises. In her new role, she will be responsible for global corporate communications and will report directly to CEO Ricarda Demarmels.
Gisela Heel will assume her role as the Emmi Group’s new Head of Corporate Communications on 13 November 2023. In this capacity, she will lead the Group Communications team and take charge of its strategic focus and continued development.
The renowned communications expert has spent the last six years as Senior Group Communications Manager at the international chocolate manufacturer Lindt & Sprüngli. Her responsibilities there included handling business reporting, acting as a media spokesperson and consultant for the C-level, promoting strategic change management schemes and digitalisation, and running projects relating to crisis communications. From 2012 to 2016, she was Board Secretary and Head of Investor Relations at Datacolor AG. Prior to that, she headed up the Stakeholder Office at Jacobs Holding AG between 2006 and 2012.
Gisela Heel has a master’s degree in linguistics and cultural studies with a specialisation in economics from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. She has since added to her qualifications with a DAS Marketing Executive diploma in communication and management from the University of St.Gallen.
