Laboratoire PYC has just launched new protein cereals. This new reference completes the ranges of high protein snacks and instant powders. Laboratoire PYC has been making slimming diet products for 30 years.
About 50 high protein snacks
Laboratoire PYC offers protein snacks for the adult diet market: chips, bars, biscuits, bread, etc.
A new reference has been added to this range since January. These are cereals containing 28% plant proteins. The sugar content is deliberately limited, and the composition of the product is designed to be ‘basic’, i.e. 8 ingredients. The absence of GMOs is also one of the main criteria for all Laboratoire PYC products.
The product has a “honey cereal” taste and can be eaten for breakfast or as a snack during the day.
Cereals and health concerns
It is worth noting that the average sugar content of breakfast cereals launched on the European market continues to decline (Mintel study, 2021). In the UK, for example, low sugar content is the number one packaging attribute for cereal consumers. This is closely followed by fibre content, wholegrain and no artificial ingredients.
