– Andrea Benson has been named new Country Leader for NOW Health Group Canada and Puresource Corp. With nearly 30 years of experience across various industries, Andrea Benson brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.
She began her career in small private business and not-for-profit associations, working alongside the grocery and drug industries. Andrea’s passion for driving results led her to CPG food companies Maple Leaf Foods and High Liner Foods, where she excelled in various marketing and business development roles within the retail, foodservice and industrial sales channels. She has a proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams, managing financial metrics, and driving profitability. Her experience in commercialization, strategic planning, and brand development is complemented by her ability to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
Andrea is a graduate of York University. She has been actively involved in mentoring young professionals in the CPG industry and supports initiatives focused on sustainability and responsible sourcing.
