Prenatal Care is a probiotic food supplement that contains BioGaia’s patented bacteria strain L. reuteri DSM 17938 along with folic acid, iron, and vitamin D3, for expecting mothers as well as women planning to conceive.
Besides BioGaia’s patented bacterial strain L. reuteri DSM 17938, one of the most scientifically well-documented probiotic strains in terms of efficacy and safety, Prenatal Care contains folic acid, iron and vitamin D3. Folic acid can support the neural tube development of the growing foetus. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin and reduces fatigue and tiredness, and vitamin D can support the immune system.
